Rob was a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain before studying at the Royal Northern College of Music. In 2004 Rob won the Pizza Express Young Jazz Musician competition and began his career performing with Andy Shepherd at the Pizza Express Jazz Club, London and with Alex Wilson in the London Jazz Festival. Rob has performed with some of the UK’s most successful jazz musicians including Mike Walker, Neil Yates and Matthew Halsall.
