Tommy Evans’ BASCA award winning score is finally released on Jellymould with live dates in London, Oxford, Leeds and Hull. Read all about it here.

Originally commissioned by The Marsden Jazz Festival in 2010 this release marks a return to Jellymould’s northern routes as this 13-piece big band features a line-up that reads like a who’s who of the top players in the North of England. The suite itself is a musical patchwork combining jazz, folk, Indian and classical music to create rich soundscapes, songs and hypnotic grooves. Read More…

Hannes Riepler Album Reviews, Media Features and Live Dates

Hannes’ new album The Brave has been receiving some fantastic press exposure (see reviews here) with coverage in The Daily Telegraph, The Guardian, The Evening Standard and The Scotsman amongst others. Hannes also features in the August edition of Jazzwise with a page spread in their Taking Off feature. Read the Feature here.

Julian Joseph played out his BBC Radio 3 Jazz Line Up show with a track from the new album, the band played a fantastic live set on the station’s In Tune programme and the album is due to feature in Jazz On 3 in the coming weeks.

The band are playing the Sonvico in Jazz festival in Switzerland on 18th August and are back in London in September at The Con Cellar Bar and then at The London Jazz Festival in November. See Hannes’ website www.hannesriepler.co.uk for more info.

Home Of The Brave’s Richard Ormrod wins Award

We are very pleased to announce that Richard Ormrod, multi-instrumentalist and leader of Home Of The Brave won Instrumentalist Of The Year at the Jazz Yorkshire Awards, a much deserved accolade.
